I used a mini-Vent for Organ as a reference one day, to see how close I
could get.  I use the 'close' option on the 5D -- I could never get the
farther setting to my liking.  I set the balance to 60/40 towards the
bass; and I boost the midrange somewhere around 380Hz; not a lot, maybe
3-4dB?

It's not quite as good as a Vent, IMHO, but it's pretty close, and
allows me to use the 5D in full stereo without resorting to bypass
switches and such.
