Subject:Re: korg kronos for organ
I would have to agree.. the Korg CX3 engine isn’t great.. even with the newest update that improved the organ engine, it’s still not great.. the Kronos is my main keyboard, and for the last year or so, I’ve been using either an HX3 module or a Gemini module to replace the CX3 engine.. however last weekend I tried using the CX3 WITH A Ventilator to improve the sound of the CX3 organ.. and the result.....
IT still sucked.. it was OK for chords/pads but whenever I took a solo, it just didn’t cut well, and it sounded really rinky dinky.. I will probably try again to see if can’t find or create a better sounding CX3 organ, but I’m not going to waste too much time on it.. I’ll just go back to using a module or my Mojo 61.
