Maybe I'm not understanding - do you mean last summer, as in 2016? Like 10 months ago? As they say, "I've slept since then."
Also, you're using older versions of software, right? You're using GB 6, when the latest version is 10.1.6. You're also using Logic 9, instead of the most recent, which is 10.3.1. AU Lab is also 3 years old, right? I haven't checked it out, so I know nothing about it other than Apple hasn't updated it since 2014.

It’s a topic that has been discussed abundantly this summer.
Any 32 bit host should can run with no problem at all in the latest macOS. Personally I use GarageBand 6 and Logic 9, if you need a 32 bit simple host I had prepared this freeware package at the time: http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/au-lab-22

I spread no false information whatsoever. Perhaps you missed my multiple mentions of 32Lives. Do you have another 32-bit host that should be mentioned? At any rate, VB3 cannot run standalone in a 64-bit OSX environment. It needs a 32-bit host/bridge. I have an old MacBook that I use when gigging specifically for 32-bit apps. It's 10 yrs old tho, so its days are numbered. Time to move on. Same thing with VB3.
