Subject:Re: Arturia b-3-v

Maybe one of you B5 owners would provide a link to some audio files demonstrating the sound of your Acoustic Samples B5, and therefore provide the OP, and the rest of us, an opportunity to actually hear the organ?

I don't own B5, so I can't help demo that VST, but I can provide examples of the original VB3. Here is a sample of me performing my version of the organ solo from Rod Argent's "Hold You're Head Up". The background of this recording goes back a couple of years, when our member Norm Peterson ask me to be a guest on this "over the wire" recordings of HYHU where he collaborates with other musicians from other countries, on-line, by sharing wave files. Norm could have easily performed the solo, but he would have had to learn it and he new that I played it regularly, so to save time he invited me to record the solo. In the following recording, Norm plays all the keys except for the solo, and the outro which were played by myself using VB3 (Version 1). I am not trying to push VB3 but simply provide an actual example of it. Hopefully someone can provide a similar example of B5! I think that VB3 sounded pretty darn good in this example! I wouldn't ever hesitate to use VB3, even version 1, it sounds awesome to my ears....
