I have both (and use both of them). If I remember right, VB3 was $69. B5 was $79 when I got it. The only problem that I have with B5 is that you can't adjust the ramp up or ramp down speeds on the Leslie. However, there will be a new Leslie that will be integrated with B5 which does allow for those adjustments. On top of that, it's 64 bit. No more having to run 32Lives, or having to use an old 32 bit OS.

B5 is not a huge download, I think around 200 MB. I have not had one problem with latency, cracks or pops. And it sounds just as good (if not better than) VB3. I have been waiting patiently for an update to VB3, to no avail. As far as Mac users go, VB3 is dead unless you also purchase 32Lives, which is $99. Sorry Guido, but I'm tired of treading water while waiting.

The biggest issue with B5 tho is no demo. And I will agree that they should do something about that.
