Sorry Mark, I have to disagree with you.. it's generally accepted that "modelling" technology is better than "sampling" technology at accurately recreating these instruments. VB3 is modelled and for many years now it has been the best sounding Hammond/Leslie VST on the market, and frankly nothing else came close. However, the VB3 VST has not been updated for several 4-5 years now (while Crumar/GSI have worked on VB3CE2 which is the basis for all of their instrument, Mojo, Mojo 61, Gemini) and it's possible that some newer VST's have surpassed it for sound quality and accurate reproduction of the instrument. However, I personally haven't found anything that compares. There are a lot of people still using VB3 both in the studio and in their live VST rigs. BTW, sampled instrument are also generally much larger then their modeled counterparts, and modeled instruments generally take less space (memory/disk) and run much more efficiently. This results in less likelihood of issues such as high latency, cracks and pops etc., things that can drive us end users crazy.

VB3 has also almost always been the least expensive Hammond/Leslie VST on the market, fluctuating between 39-49 euros, while other competing products were several times more expensive.. when Native Instruments B4 II was selling for $199, at my local music store, I was able to purchase VB3 on-line for about $50 US, and VB3 sounded much better..

I'm not debating GSI/VB3 vs Acoustic Samples/B5, because I haven't used B5, and it may very well be based on some spectacular samples and sound better than VB3. I'm just trying to clarify a few things, based on my experience.
