It's great you're finding the XK-1c worth having. I couldn't find a version of "Me and Bobby McGee" by Big Brother that had organ on You Tube, but I did find "Give Me Strength" by Eric Clapton. the Drawbar settings are probably something like 806000002 with Vib/Chorus Off, perc off and set the Leslie so that it's being close miked. The recording sounds like the organ wasn't recorded flat, but was EQ,d to be a little darker on the top end. That's okay though. You can get close to it. If you're Using a Vent, it will give you a darker sound than using the onboard Leslie Sim, you might check that out too. There are two ways to use the equalizer on the XL-1c. You can equalize a patch so it'll only affect that one preset, or you can adjust the Master Equalizer, but then it'll affect all the sounds. In any event, you'll see that the EQ can be set for BASS, MIDs and HIGHs and you can set freqs and levels for each frequency section. Hope that helps a bit.
