Subject:XK1C Tweaks for 2 songs?

My XK1C arrived last Monday and I've been enjoying it like crazy... for the
past 8.5 years now, I've played a Nord C1, 6 of those years through a
Vent. The XK1C really is a huge leap forward in authenticity - the feel is
incredibly tonewheel-real. One of its' traits that attracted me, was reading
(on here) that you can pretty much "get" any Hammond set-up from any
recording. I'd say this is definitely so. This is a question I have - I've been
tweaking around, doing different registrations (as I hear them on a
recording), and being very satisfied with this 16 lb. Hammond. There are 2 songs,
however, that have always been among my Hammond favorites, that I've always
found really hard to get on any organ, whether it be the drawbars (or Leslie,
or whatever...): "Me and Bobby McGee" by Big Brother and "Give Me
Strength" by Eric Clapton. Both have, for decades, eluded me and I'm wondering if
this new organ can be tweaked to finally hear it the way that feels right.
Anybody? I used to think I had the drawbars down but I'm not so sure
anymore... plus, with the many Leslie variables on the XKC1 - I'm hopeful. Thanks
