the OP talked about weight being a consideration.
the Nord 4D comes in at 15 lbs, the Mojo is 25 lbs and the XK3 is 45 lbs.
from my end so far the go-to clone rider request has been the nord. and to these guys weight is never the issue as they never carry or set up their gear.
case in point, cryin' adams' band has always sported a console B but for 2017 they've streamlined; nord piano 88 key for organ and then on several shows last month's tour used a faux grand piano box with a two stack synth hidden from view.
ain't the summer of '69 anymore.

many of the clones out can do the job. it's always up to the treachery of the guy/gal pulling the bars.
If weight is the prime concern, the 4D is the one to haul..especially since nord stopped the space alien three finger bar control mentality.

Never once did I criticize the Mojo 61''s editor, Since I don't have a Mojo 61, I am not qualified to criticize something I have never used. I was criticizing the fact that, apparently, the only way you can meaningfully edit it is with the use of an external voice and the whims of wireless. Good luck if the wireless connector died on your tablet or phone in the middle of a concert when you need to change an important parameter.

And I not criticizing the Mojo's external editor. It's a nice little box, although not always easy to connect or use. And the Windows based software is quite nice as well, if you're willing to jump through the various inconvenient hoops to connect it.

So, Craig, if had read my comments accurately, you would ha ve seen that my overall criticism is with Crumar's decision to not include easily accessible, intuitive,display based editing capabilities built into the Mojo itself, without requiring expensive add on boxes or the use of computers, tablets or other external devices, Nearly every clonewheel competitor--indeed, just about every other KB maker--offers these display-based editing capabilities on the keyboard itself. Most also do offer USB or wireless editing as well, but it's not necessary.
I THINK I EXPLAINED THE EVOLUTION OF THE MOJO AND IT'S EXTERNAL DISPLAY.. IT WAS A QUESTION OF RELEASING AN EDITOR AS PART OF A MOJO 2, AND OBSOLETING ALL OF THE MOJO'S OUT THERE, OR CREATING AN ADD-ON PLUG-IN DEVICE. I PERSONALLY AM VERY GLAD THEY DID WHAT THEY DID. SHOULD THEY HAVE HAD AN LED IN THE ORIGINAL MOJO.. PERHAPS, BUT THEIR WINDOWS EDITOR WAS A SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT ON WHAT WAS AVAILABLE IN OTHER CLONES AT THE TIME
Crumar does not. Now, if you're into removing back panels and paying more for editor boxes or attaching mice and monitors or connecting wirelessly, then all the power to you. But for those who don't want to do either, it's a major design flaw and totally contradictory to what the industry does in general.
IT IS NOT A PERFECT SOLUTION, BUT AGAIN, I HAVE EXPLAINED HOW IT IS THAT THEY RELEASED THIS EXTERNAL EDITOR. I DON'T EXPECT EVERYONE TO LIKE IT.
Does that mean that the Mojo is a bad piece of equipment? Of course not. It plays great, it sounds great, and its Leslie emulation is the best one out there right now. But just because it plays great doesn't mean that, from my POV which is EVERY BIT AS LEGITIMATE AS YOURS, it's not hindered by bad design flaws. As a fanboy, you and others may think it is perfect, but some of the Mojo's flaws may make some purchasers think twice.

As a moderator, perhaps you should lose your "circle the wagons" about Crumar and allow those whose opinions differ with yours to be aired without your usual "I have no problem with this feature" response. I'm the moderator of several of these Yahoo instrument-specific forums, and when people make negative comments about the instrument I make sure I never blindly rush to its defense and acknowledge that such flaws exist.
