Subject:Two-Way Halfmoon

Hi All,

As many of you know, I've been making and selling (as Ashby Solutions)
the Gigger Halfmoon, and recently, the demi-Luna universal version.
Both of them are the modern, three-way halfmoon (Chorale-Off-Tremolo)
style. I've had requests from time to time to make a 'old-school' 2-way
version, but they don't make the parts I need any more. For reasons
that I won't elaborate on here, it isn't possible to get the parts to
make one without adding $15-20 to the cost. A more expensive version,
one that does less? That sounds like a bad idea, IMHO.

Recently, though, I ran across a batch of NOS switches, a custom version
made for somebody (Leslie? CBS?) at a decent price, and I bought all
that I could. So, I'm offering a limited version of the Gigger Halfmoon
without the Off/Stop position, for the same price as the other
versions. The 'Ventilator' 2-way model will also work with Nord
Electros (NE3 on) and Stages (2 EX on), as well as many other
clonewheels and synths. Probably work with H-S gear, too. Motion Sound
and HX3 models are also available.

That's the good news. The bad news is that the supplier had *way* fewer
switches than I hoped. After a few pre-sales, service spares, and one
for my use, there are only about 15 of them left. I'm trying to get
more switches, but the supplier is telling me not to hold my breath. :-(
