You are not forced to use Bluetooth with iPhone 7. It comes with wired headphones that use the Lightning port. You don't have to spend $150 for the wireless AirPods, unless you want to. The iPhones 7 come with wired headphones as well as an adaptor to connect 3.5mm headphone jacks.
