I'm saddened by today's news. He was a huge influence on me, showed me
that being a rock keyboard player could be a special thing. I literally
wore out my first copy of the ELP debut album, as I played it in my
bedroom pretty much non-stop for months. And certainly the main reason
that I first touched a synthesizer.

This has been an extraordinarily bad year for music, and Keith Emerson
is a prime example. You'll be missed, Keith!
