Subject:VB3 with other instrument layers.

Hi folks,
Firs of all want to share with this my fav YahooGroups that last Thursday have a successfull cataract surgery
and my vision now is 10/10,  better yet than before in just a day.
I'm taking my work again thinking about the software Clonewheel route.
See still momentum for  Mojo and DMC with Gemini , sadly yet it's out of my budget nowadays.

Sorry if I'm late with some questions.
Is already from GSI a software only version for VB3 2 ?
Is it Cantabile yet the way to mix VB3 with other virtual instruments whether VST or iOS 8 from an iPad mini ?
Wich is the best pick for a VST grand piano to play along with VB3  ?

Appreciate your updated guides, hints or tips.
