The Vox sound seems to be easier to duplicate; maybe because, at its
essence, it's just a square wave with filtering. The Electro 3 and up
have the Vox sound down really well. Doors songs are a breeze!

The Farfisa Compact series has a VERY strange waveform, kind of a skinny
pulse with an exponential tail. It's hard to explain, but it sounds
both nasty and really sweet at the same time. Nord got the nasty part
down well, but not the sweet core. My Kurzweil SP4 got the sweet part,
but not quite the ugly edge. On 'dry' sounds, I can mix the two to get
a pretty good copy, but it's hard to synchronize the vibrato.
