Thanks for your comments on the 64bit / 32bit issue. I guess you (and Norm) are right - time to move to 64 bit. That said, I have a slightly higher level issue. A few months ago I purchased the GSi Gemini DSP module (desktop version), mainly because it seemed that a VB3 II VST was never going to make an appearance. However, since using the Gemini these past few months I've come to realise that I'm probably a 'VST live' man at heart, so I've now got to decide if I abandon VB3 which has served me well over the past 3-4 years, and run with B-5 and other VSTs, or stick with VB3 II running in the Gemini. The Gemini is OK but the great thing about VSTs is that you can add new ones, kick out old ones etc - it 'your' paintbox, not one you buy off the shelf. Also, whilst I can go into the Gemini via its web interface and tweak parameters on the fly, I've found it's not so easy to do this on stage because (a) I use my tablet to run Lyric Pad, so can't use that simultaneously to run the Gemini web editor, (b) I haven't really got the real estate on stage to use a computer as well as the Gemini, (c) the longest I can operate my phone before it going into sleep mode is 10 minutes, so can't really use that, and (d) I find that scrolling on a tablet or a phone when you want to access a parameter takes longer and is less precise that using a trackpad mouse to tweak a VST.

Assuming I do go back to playing VSTs live (which seems likely), I'd like to stick with Forte if I can (better the devil you know?).
