Subject:Steinberg Model C

So Clonewheel gurus, has anyone done a comparison with the Steinberg Model C (part of Halion, etc.). Is it something Steinberg developed, or was it developed by someone else (and maybe similar to one that’s already in market)?

Context: I’m going to buy Halion Sonic 2 as my main virtual instrument in my PC-based laptop rig (for live gigs). I’m wondering whether it makes sense to add an organ VST or if the Model C is good enough.
