I don't think it can work with Roland, because AFAIK Roland uses
different pin assignment. I had to reconnect two of my FC7 when I
wanted to use them with my Roland V-piano... Of course it's possible
to use some reduction and not to change internal connection on the pot
as I did. Then you can use it with reduction on Roland (or some other
- Kawai also I think), and without reduction on Yamaha instruments.

Try it with any Yamaha instrument which has foot controller (not foot
switch!) connector.

It is quite possible that Axiom follows also different pin assignment
for continuous pedal...
