I have three FC7s. I have replaced the pot in one of them and it's
really nice to have a spare. Considering the build quality, they're not
that expensive and it's well worth the cost to solve your problem
quickly. I would suggest getting a new one and if that doesn't solve the
problem you'll have a spare for rehearsal. If it does, you can get your
pedal repaired and then you'll still have a spare.
