Subject:Re: XK-5 warnings...!

The first Mojos from BGI had a lot of problems, yet, things went much better afterwards. I had mine (which was the first ever sold) replaced eventually, because it kept crashing. Quite satisfied with my current one, though, and especially with Andrea's and Guido's support, who always helped me with my few problems even if I was already out of warranty.

Problems caused by the fact that my organ, by now, has been through a lot, I should add, including a couple of nasty falls.

Since I don't take it anywhere, I've learned to live with it. I also didn't like a few things about the software, such as cases where when you hit notes at a point high up the keyboard, you heard a "bass harmonic" that didn't seem like it should be there. I wrote to Crumar asking about this and if there would be coming out with an updated to fix it (since this seemed to be a similar issue with the newly released Mojo 61), they sent back a very snarky email saying that it was supposed to be this way because people had asked for it. Well, I sure as hell didn't. So, as much as I really do like the sound and keyboard of the Mojo, I'm not all that convinced of Crumar's build quality and I'm not overly impressed by their responsiveness to users' questions.
