If it makes you feel any better, my first Korg BX-3 (2002 digital
version) had bubbles in the wood laminate on the back (audience) side of
the case, and I had to get a replacement. I remember thinking the same
thing: "Gee, doesn't anyone take pride in a $3K+ instrument any more?" :-(
