Know your pain.

Personally I've solved this last year by purchasing a second inexpensive computer that I use to pilot my main one when recording my piano. On the plus side, I can now read music directly on screen on that, no need to print anything.

>craig i always use a real leslie. and as it is easier to set up and tweak, a clone in the studio for pads. am not doing anything that needs two manuals and pedals. guess i'm wanting the touch response of the 9 stack which i've always missed playing a clone. i have the real thing just feet away but it takes time to set up and then i'm away from the mixer and daw having to dart back and forth. with a clone you can tweak the controls easier which makes it suitable for recording vs. the real thing which is dependent on the mics and the mixer. you can't boost anything on the real thing.
