So I can only speak for myself, but yes cost is always a consideration and for many of us the X5 will either be way out of our budget or even if we can manage it financially will we be willing to part with our hard-earned cash? I In my case I am now relegated to the basement with my musical buddies and they are more than happy with the sound of my current rig which includes a CASIO Privia digital piano and the Roland Combo VR 700 and VB3 and Logic Mainstage patches. For me it would be lunacy to spend that kind of money for the Hammond X 5. Now if you are out playing live or a working musician I could see rationalizing putting out all that coin for the new Hammond. I know we have been going back and forth ad-nauseum about the subtle differences between many of the clone-wheel options we are so fortunate to have at our disposal. If the X5 ever makes its way up to Ottawa I would love to play and listen to it live.
