Agreed. If it's like most buyouts, Verizon is going to keep whatever
parts of Yahoo that they feel are 'useful,' and likely discard the ones
they feel are not. Which side of the fence Yahoo Groups is on is
difficult to say.

I also agree with Daniel that traffic on Yahoo Groups as a whole seems
to be down. I have only seen 1-2 messages on NordElectro in the past 6
months, if one ignores the double posts with Clonewheel. The same is
true of other synth forums I belong to. And I started a Kurzweil SP4
group about six months ago, which currently has ... one member (me).
