There's something like selective deafness...

My hearing is quite good in my 57 after all those years with high
level listening... But there's sudden loss of hearing when hearing my
wife saying "I have seen nice shoes" or something like this...

She has similar hearing problem when I say "Korg has new Kronos
model..."

When I say "OK, how much do you need?", her problem is away... I'm
sure I would hear well such sentence from her side, but...

True is that number of musical instruments and other gear in our house
is incomparably higher than number of her shoes.
