Yeap. Thanks for the reply. I put it back together. I did hook it up to Midi Ox and checked everything that is MIDI-out and all works, in fact, , it is a rather incredible organ controller imo, , and patches send too.
Seems to me, this is a case where the main board needs replacement for internal sounds. Looking it up the motherboard sells for 600 to 750 bucks from articles and being 2015 may be difficult to get. For that amount, I would buy a recent release expander (there are now a couple and speculation on more) instead.
Having said all the above, I bought this only as a controller but it was fun to give it a shot! Can't wait to hook up to an expander. About backup, point well taken.
