Subject:Re: Suitable controller for GSi Gemini DSP tabletop format?

two things I don't like about the axiom.... one is the piano style lip on the front edge of the keys... This makes slur/gliss up the keys a bit of a pain, and second is that the faders have a pretty short throw, about half the distance of a real drawbar (if i recall correctly) and the spacing of the sliders is pretty wide. Thats one of the other things I liked about the PCR-800, the faders were very close to the same dimensions as the real drawbars on a hammond, but the PCR-800 has diving board keys so its not perfect either.

There really isn't a controller that is perfect for the HX3 module.. in my opinion.. but several are workable with different compromises.. I might be inclined to look for a used XK2.. I think that the XK cc set included with the HX3 should work with it, and it has waterfall keys, and you might find a used one for cheap.. just a thought.
