Subject:Re: First "gig" with the VR-09

I don't know what's up with combative BS going on in this thread, but
it would be nice if people read other people wrote.

For the record, the SK-1 and VR-09 are different instruments. Luckily,
there is more than one musician on the planet. Presumably, each
musician will choose whichever instrument best suits their needs and
situation.

For example, this musician never uses C/V, they are just not that
useful in non-prog-rock, so the stupid routing doesn't affect me. On
the other hand, I've found the VR09's synth sounds to be so good that
I bring it on stage with me even on nights when I have a CP4 AND a
tonewheel organ at my disposition. But, if I had a jazz organ gig --
assuming I learned how to play jazz organ -- the VR09 might go from
indispensable to lacklustre.

Sharing information is useful, but making straw men just to argue
about is something we should, have left behind in the third grade.
