Subject:Top drawbar on VR-09 doesn't seem to work

Hi guys. I am, unfortunately, the forum ignoramus on all things organ related. I have been happily playing my VR-09 for quite a few months now, always using just a few sounds which give me what I need ATM. (Mostly just a 8-8-8 setting, a rock organ setting and also a tweaked transistor sound).

Today I was experimenting with it and realised that moving the top drawbar (1') has no effect on the sound when playing my 8-8-8 setting, or the rock organ setting. I can hear it in the transistor setting though. Is this supposed to be the case? I was expecting to hear a high whistle but it seems to make absolutely no difference if it is set on 8 or 0.


Would be most grateful for any light which you can shine into what is going on with this.....whether I have done something wrong, or whether it is supposed to not sound (but that seems a weird idea......) Thank you. :-)
