Subject:Re: Roland VR-09 dual manual and midi split questions

By the way Allan, I should add, based on feedback here, and on other forums, many original Numa owners who took the time to work with Studiologic to get their initial Numa problems resolved, ultimately had very few follow on problems.. I believe there were a couple of known problems, and once fixed the Numas performed very well.

At the same time, there many owners, including myself, were frustrated by the lack of documentation and poor support. In fact, I think I bought my Numa in April, and immediately experienced some issues and sent an email to Studiologic tech support, within the first week. I received a response to that email in February of the following year and the response I received was "sorry we have been slow to respond, we have experienced some bad weather". No I'm not kidding..

Im not trying to scare you away from buying a Numa, but I think you're very wise to investigate it's reliability, service and support. Hopefully someone, maybe Ken, will chime in here.
