there are those doing this now to a B3 even. used in case a leslie fails on stage. but then backline will usually have a spare leslie at the ready.

jim has made many demo clips regarding same.
the question would be is it a space/weight issue or you'd like to practice late at night at home through headphones.
although not perfect, as a real rotating mass has centrifugal force animation where as digital does the same thing over and over again, the sim fills a niche. and users will find ways to make it more useful.

Here's the question, and I know it's sacrilege:I have two Hammond M3's, but not enough studio space (or isolation) to have a real Leslie for recording (though I do want to get a real one - nothing like the sound of a Leslie in any room).
Is anyone using a Ventilator (or other sim) with a real Hammond? Ideas? Success? Fail? Other thoughts?
