Subject:Re: SK1 Power Connection issues

I can't remember my Yahoo login so I can't see your pic, but I will suggest
buying a new one anyhow. A given power supply is one guitard away from
failure. Having a backup is a good habit.

Hi,
My band mate inadvertently tried to power up her guitar amp with my SK1
power supply. When I then tried to plug it into the keyboard the plug
wouldn't fit into the 12 V jack. As best as I could see on stage it looked
like the center pin in the plug was bent and I was able to center it with a
paper clip. It fit and the keyboard booted up. Now upon closer inspection
the inside of the plug looks kind of chewed up and there are two prongs in
the center of the 12 V jack on the SK1 which look kind of odd to me. I'm
concerned that there might be some permanent damage so I was hoping someone
with an SK1 could take a look at the pictures I posted here and see how
they compare with theirs. Thanks for any help and advice.

Regards,
Jay
