I have mine the Gator non-slim 61 key bag. I think I could fit THREE VR-09s
in there.

What I wound up doing was keeping the three white foam pieces that came in
the box, and put them on the VR-09 before putting it in the bag. It then
fits the bag *exactly*, and you get a LOT of protection for very little
weight, almost as much protection as a semi-rigid bag, but without the
weight.
