I suggest downloading Jim Alfredson's custom tone wheel set. I believe you can get it from the Suzuki SK1 download site or from Jim's web site. I installed it and I think the sound is great. I also use a Ventilator. Unless it's an issue with what amp you're playing through the SK1 should sound fantastic. Hope this helps.
