Subject:OT: "New" Kronos VIM
I know several of us are Korg Kronos users and thought you may find Steve McNally video instruction manual series for Kronos 2 on YouTube to be of interest. You'll find the videos here: http://m.youtube.com/?#/results?q=New%20Kronos%20video%20manual&sm=12
For those who may be unaware, other than SSD and RAM size (which are actually user upgradable), the only differences between the original Kronos and Kronos 2 are the OS (which is available free from Korg and runs fine in the originals), the Berlin piano (which I'm told will probably be available from Korg for a price soon) and the wood end panals.
Anyway, I upgraded my Kronos a couple months ago and the differences (including the SGX-2 acoustic piano engine) are stellar. It's almost as if Korg gave us Kronos 2 for free. If you are a Kronos owner and haven't applied the new OS, I highly recommend you do so. The set list improvements alone are well worth the effort!
Best,
Fox
