I had a Uni-Vibe as well as one of my very first sims. Jimi Hendrix also used one on his guitar but I wasn’t in his band at the time…. ☺ Those things are probably collectables now. I wish I had kept all the vintage gear I used over the years…of course when I had it …it was not considered vintage….I guess I could be considered vintage now….just not collectable!

EVERYBODY'S first 'spinning' organ was a {fill in the manufacturer} combo organ with a '60s Vibratone, right?

Mine was a Vox Conti with a Kustom Bass 150 and a Vibratone. Prior to that, I used a Farfisa Mini Compact with a Univox Uni-Vibe (from Lafayette Electronics!) ...

The band just sounded so good, arrangements were tight and the songs were good.

I used to record and play with a Fender Vibratone (single rotor leslie) with either a Vox Continental or one of several clonewheels from the '70's. It sounded great and got the job done. But I will start looking for one like yours asap. JP
