The Solton, Wersi and Elka rotary cabinets are great. They all follow the exact same design as the Leslie models (with some slight differences which don't really matter) , but they are all solid state so they need some overdrive (without rasp!!!!) to get "that" Hammond sound. Most of the models are very simliar to a Leslie 122 regarding the mechanics, drivers and crossover.
If you are located in Europe, these are the rotary speakers to look for as a way, way more cost effective alternative to the ridiculously expensive Leslies.
For a live gig I recommend a Vent or a Burn (never fail - sound great), but for a studio recording (unless you are filth rich) I recommend the European mechanical rotary speakers closely based on the original Don Leslie design. Serviced and with the correct miking and EQ they sound like Hammond Heaven - and affordable.

I used to record and play with a Fender Vibratone (single rotor leslie) with either a Vox Continental or one of several clonewheels from the '70's. It sounded great and got the job done.
