that's right, it was a leslie and that "relay click" and belt wheel rotor thump was the clue.
still is it real or a clone?
a 145/142 roadwarrior leslie that dave of ocean beach digital helped me build a long time ago by providing me the trouble of discreet dimensions of his real 145. photos of the warrior lester are still, i think, in the clonewheel archives. and the 147 amp that again dave scored for me on ebay a year or so back because the seller did not want to deal with an overseas account so dave troubled himself once again and purchased it for me.

just thought i'd throw that out there to dramatize so conus residents know it's not easy for us outter space critters.

its first use, that 147 amp. swapping the amps of course turns the cab into one or the other.
it was mic'd just top and bottom and the two rotor tracks were split panned between 40 and 90 at the right of center.

there are others i'm sure if they are so inclined.

G, just had a chance to give this a quick listen in my studio this morning and I heard what sounded like a leslie switch/relay click at the end where the leslie switches from fast to slow. So I would think this is a real leslie.. I don't have much time to do any more thorough analysis... so I won't guess at clone vs real Hammond at this point. let's see if you can tell if it's a clone/sim or the real thing.
it's just a sub-pad, no organ solo.
well, there is tiny sort of one at the end..
if you have a good set of headphones and a decent soundcard it might help you figure it out, maybe not. there is a clue to those in the know within the organ track for one parameter.
