Think of the Vent this way:

Mono Vent

Mono organ signal sent into a mono amp and speakers, with one mic on the
horn, and one on the rotor.

Stereo Vent

Mono organ signal sent to a mono amp and speakers, with one mic on each
side of the horn (180 degrees apart), and one on the rotor.

One thing to be aware of: If the reverb or other effects are stereo,
there will be a slight difference between the organ's Left Out and Right
Out. The Vent will discard this difference; it NEVER, EVER looks at the
Left In signal. It passes it through in Bypass, but it doesn't even
look at it in Leslie Mode.
