Like most things, Keith Emerson's sound changed over the years. Here are
some starter points for the 'early' sound:

Knife Edge

Upper: 87 7440 000 no vibrato, percussion Normal/Fast/3rd

Lower: 67 8000 000 no vibrato

Alternate KE

Lower: 00 8200 000 no vibrato

This is the 'Windmill Chop' sound he used in many songs.

General Tips

* Emerson had the percussion volume boosted significantly on most of
his Hammonds. On my NE3, I need to set the Perc Normal level to Hi;
and I had to set the percussion volume to 99 on my BX-3. If that
still doesn't give enough snap, you may need to drop the drawbar
settings a notch or two (ex: 76 6330 000) and boost the drive to
compensate.

* Emerson liked an overdriven Leslie, but not to the degree of Jon
Lord or Ken Hensley (Uriah Heep). To get more of a guitar amp
punch, play around with boosting the midrange at around 1-2kHz.
