cool clip raff, with healey even. that was a well spent 25 minutes.
tall order trying to cop the real thing and then factor in the player's savvy pulling them bars.
even if someone else sat at that same rig the same sound won't come out.
with a clone at today's state of the art, one would need extra tweaks, tone modification and then the complete range of parameters of how geraci worked his sound would be piecemeal.
you'd get a see-saw effect; when you cop one tone of the performance, the other part of where he went down low on the board may not sound the same unless you tweak for that part of the riff. so overall going through the entire performance there would be parts that don't live up to the original using a clone.
hence geraci uses the real thing.
basically you could get a semblance of his performance, the high bar top-rotor spin stealth tone, but it won't be as all encompassing.

overall, there would be many missing tones as a tonewheel interacts with a real leslie and all the preamp-amplifier nuances, stock leslie crossover and speakers plus the cabinet itself, sounds, as it is what it is.
