gregg understates the bars especially the lower " 16, 5-1/3, 8, 4 " while flooring the expression pedal.
sets them about 2-3 on the pull.
then during "jingo" for example, he has the " 2-2/3, 2, 1-3/5,1-1/3,1 " at about 4 on the pull.
so picture the stagger of the high and low bars.
and no it's not 8888 on the lower bars.
he then starts to pull the top 1-3/5, 1-1/3, 1 out slowly as he goes to the part of the song where hits the halfmoon to go to fast, leaving the lower bars in place at 2-3, with the 1' leading, 1-1/3' after that, the 1-3/5' trailing in the pull.
he has vibrato going on his VIB knob during the whole time.

i was sitting elevated and behind him at the side of the stage when he played. close enough to get a bird's eye-view of the console and close enough to his stock rental leslie to hear the leslie by itself before it hit the mains.
