Subject:Re: Neo Ventilator 2
Dave, thanks for posting!! So you had a great experience with the Vent II.. that's good, I would never question whether any of the Vents would sound and work great, I would absolutely expect that!!! (for $500 they better work great.. ha ha..). Neither would I think of "pounding" you about the Burn being better ;-) that's not what any of my posts have been about!
YES the Burn is certainly geared towards a different player, one who is, frankly, more demanding feature/function wise. Whereas the Vent products are geared more towards the player who simply wants a nice warm 122 sim and the ability to do not too much more than "set it and forget it" and perhaps turn the overdrive up or down now and then.
Now my only question is.. weren't you the guy who was demanding Midi support from Neo Instruments from day 1? ;-)
(Actually I know that you were, I'm just wondering what's changed)..
Craig
PS.. normally I would be one of the first to pick up any new clone or leslie sim, and I would be the one posting a review here myself but dammit the new Vents are too f-ing expensive, and I'm saving my money to pay for a faux B3 style cabinet for my Mojo. YES, I may be going through some kind of change of life.
