I'm not sure if I understand the question correctly, but as far as I know the drum sounds can be accessed by external midi but not the loops, I think they are only available via the looper.. I believe that most workstations have their own unique loops, except I think motif and Kronos both have karma loops.. I assume there may be some commonality there.
