i was wondering the same thing, no more hammond clones. all workstation.

when i was selling organs for lowrey i was really thinking about getting the top of the line that played more than just organ and parking my B. but the top lowrey was even bigger than the B. back then portability/footprint was not the issue it is today. someone had to keep u-haul in business.

but then hammond keys are different than piano keys and different than synth keys so unless we decide on one keyboard type, it doesn't look like there won't be any more hammond clones.

next no one will go to a gig. everyone will just skype in their parts from home.
