Hi guys,
I´m happy to join the CloneWheel group and exchange views and opinions on various hammond clones. As for me, I´m a long-time hammond player preferring the blues and jazz. Currently I play with three various groups. Besides my vintage hammond C3 with a leslie 122, which I play at home only, I owned practically all known hammond clones. Quite recently I sold my two manual hammond XK-3 system and a Nord C2 organ. The reason I did it was simple: I´ve bought a brand new Crumar Mojo organ which by no doubts fulfills my hammond sound expectations the best. Of course, I was a bit nervous when taking the Mojo on my first giggs, as it is based on a computer technology (which, frankly, I really don´t trust very much). However, my Mojo hasn´t betrayed me so far and I am utmost satisfied with it. In a way I think it sounds even better than my vintage C3... (please, don´t stone me for this claim). I use my Mojo connected to a Burn rotary sim, which sounds more realistic (and has more options to choose from) than the current version 2.2 installed Mojo leslie sim.
Look forward taking part in the group´s discussion forum .
Mike
