Gary, you don't know who may or may not have complained to me.. I often get confidential emails from members off-line, about these types of things.
 
Please don't accuse me of "over-moderating".. I have been moderator for almost a year now, and I think I have only suggested a thread was off-topic 2-3 times..
 
FYI, Yahoo has a Tinnitus discussion group with almost 900 members.. Let's go there for further discussion of this topic. Please respect my request that this be taken off-line and if you wish to discuss this further with me, do so off-line, thank you.

I haven’t heard any complaints.  Isn’t that when you should step in?  I don’t think this has been combative or out of control and it is obviously relevant to many users here.  I think it is refreshing after the relentless “this is best, no that is best” discussions.  That makes my ears ring! JI am just requesting that you don’t over moderate.

While I'm very sensitive to those musicians and others who are experiencing Tinnitus (and this affects some of our most active members).. this is off topic, and while I'm sure that this is of interest to a few members, I think that others may not be happy with all of this OT discussion.
 
I'm sure that there is a Tinnitus discussion group for those of you who wish to carry on this discussion, but at this point I would ask that we discontinue this thread and get back to discussing clones.
