I would expect that it's still based on they KeyB engine, but.... Assuming that's the case, I would ask.. is it the same keyb engine or is it updated/improved?
The Numa was an outstanding single manual clone.. it's problems were reliability (mostly out of the box issues like I had with mine I think), the midi implementation/controller functionality was really quirky, and many of the functions that we expect in a clone were not available for tweaking.. things like percussion volume (which initially was not tweakable) basic leslie parameters, etc.. those things that we take for granted in other clones.
IF the Numa 2 has fixed those things, and it's priced right this could be a great single manual clone.. except for a couple of things.. it's really f-ing ugly (yes my opinion), and the way the drawbars sit on top of the unit and sideways positioning of the modwheel/pitchbend controls.. is just wrong..
It will be interesting to see/hear the farfisa emulation.. if it's good that could be a nice feature to have for some folks.
Regards,
Craig MacDonald
