Tommy,
Thank you. I know Michael Falkenstein very well, chef of Hamoond Germany. He can sell me at a great price a true vintage B 3with
the exact sound I want.
It will be impoosible to get it to the venues (Euerpe, rembember!) and neiher our current tour bus nor anything we coiud hire (a full blown modern bus, has the space. We have no specialiced companies to safely transport Hamnmonds. We do have plenty for a
acousitc pianos - grands or verticals.
The only guy here (a dear friend, and a highly skilled Hammod and Leslie maintenance guy, owner of a P.A. rental compamy: Jose Luis, who brough up my P100S and Solton TwinJet speaker - which I bpought rather cheaply in 2000 - up to top performance (but due to the design (I was too stupid and didn't now the importance of harmonic foldback, scanner vibrato and other detaiuls) they never will sound even remotely like a console Hammond plus Leslie 122) is dead now.
That's why all the work. I could have a vintage B3 (chosing!) tomorrow for a good price (even psy it mim "hire purchase" monythly rates) I still couldn't bring it safely each tme to the venues. Hello Europe!
Cheers,
Christian

Why all the work!
The original hammond xlk-3 with the xk3c and b3 legs looks really beautiful!
