So please let m my try this. As I said: this is not me at my best, this was on very short notice. The choir consists completely of amateurs (otherwise it would be impossible to pull it off here in Europe where I live). A complete live band (we tried that many times) isn't feasible either - we had a four piece horn section in some songs that night. Clients are unwilling to pay a full live band and there is no protectionby law for musicians to secure their work. So MIDI playbacks are (mostly) used.  
I think the sound is just fine for live work through a PA system. Details such as leakage and simplified key klick become irrelevant in this context (they do become relevant in the studui, where the VB3 plugin through real leslie sounds way better and more authentic.
 
Please drop in at 5:21. I didn't fiddle much with the drawbars. This is the original XK-3 system with the drawbar set tweaked, Mullard tubes - through a Vent and straight into DI-boxes. I had the 1' drawbar quite prominent to keep the sound somewhat "churchy". Nice horn swirl from the Vent.
