Ummm ... actually you have, Tommy ... or something very similar. I remember having a great laugh over the comment. I had a friend in the 60's who drove a VW bug ... removed the front emblem and replaced it with one from a Benz ... swore the ride improved to the point he felt like he was driving his La-Z-Boy down the road. It still smelled like gas inside from that reserve tank (no gas gauge). Moral of the story? A variation on the old "You can slap lipstick on a pig, but that doesn't make her Miss America." Hugh put a Mercedes emblem on a Volkswagen, but it was still just a little black bug!


Anyway, the comment's archived (and in a thread very similar to this one, if memory serves) ... somebody will probably locate it for us.

I'm pretty sure that in the past you said the HS clones were best because they say "hammond" on them!!
